It is stated in the book جبل الكرد (عفرين) دراسة جغرافية Çiyayê Kurmênc (Efrîn): A Geographical Study by د. محمد عبدو علي Dr. Mihemed Ebdo Elî: Eb Ke'ib, /225 inhabitants 180m altitude 5km distance/:
A designation based on the name of the Êzîdî shrine Ebû Ke'ib found there.
It consists of two sections. Western: consists of about twenty families. And Eastern: contains one family.
It is stated in the book: عفرين .... نهرها وروابيها الخضراء Efrîn... Her River and Her Green Hills by the writer عبدالرحمن محمد Ebdulrehman Mihemed from the village of Qetme:
Eb Ke'ib Şerqî: A village in the Efrîn valley, administratively belonging to the sub district of Cindirês, district of Efrîn, governorate of Heleb. It is a village in the valley of the Efrîn river situated south of the village of Ferîriyê in the Cindirês plain and near the shrine of Ebû Ke'ib.
It is bordered to the north by a fertile agricultural plain planted with olive trees and the village of Ferîriyê; to the south by the valley of the Efrîn river and the village of Celemê in the far south; to the west by a fertile agricultural plain, the valley of the Efrîn river, and the village of Eb Ke'ib Xerbî at a distance of 1km; and to the east by a fertile agricultural plain and the village of Zelqa Şerqî.
The number of its houses reaches about 5 houses and its age is about 150 years. Its old houses are made of mud, branches, and wood, and they have two slopes. It was previously an important center for the Êzîdîs southeast of the village of Ferîriyê in the last decade of the twentieth century. Currently, it has become an abandoned village and only its shrine remains as of this date; nothing is available in it.

Foundation/Origin Information of Abû Ke'bê Şerqî
It was previously an important center for the Yazidis southeast of Fiririya village in the last decade of the twentieth century. Currently it has become an abandoned village and only its shrine remains to this date.
