It is stated in the book جبل الكرد (عفرين) دراسة جغرافية Çiyayê Kurmênc (Efrîn): A Geographical Study:
Baxaş, or El-Mefreq:
The name means "possessor of fresh air" (Ba + Xaş). It is called El-Mefreq (The Crossroads) because of its location on a junction of roads.
It lies between the villages of Hesen Dêrlî and Nazan. The history of habitation there dates back to the late 1970s. The number of residential houses in it is around 10. The origin of its inhabitants is from the village of Hesen Dêrlî. It has not yet been recorded in the administrative divisions.
It is stated in the book عفرين .... نهرها وروابيها الخضراء Efrîn... Her River and Her Green Hills:
Baxaşî: It is a small farm/hamlet located between the villages of Hesen Dêrlî and Naza Uşaxî on a crossroads leading to Nebî Hûrî, Bilbil, and Meydankê. The number of its houses is approximately 10 houses and its age is approximately 25 years. Their origin is from the village of Hesen Dêrlî.
