It is the name of a site south of the village of Birc Ebdalo on Çiyayê Lêlûn, containing ancient ruins. Its name resembles Syriac naming conventions.
It was stated in the book: عفرين .... نهرها وروابيها الخضراء Efrîn... Her River and Her Green Hills by the writer عبدالرحمن محمد Ebdulrehman Mihemed from the village of Qetme:
Keferlab: An old village on the southern slope of Çiyayê Seman and Çiyayê Lêlûn. It is located to the south of the village of Birc Heyder.
It is bordered to the north by a watercourse, a mountain range of rugged rocks, a valley, and the village of Birc Heyder. To the south, it is bordered by a slope, a mountain range, a valley, and the village of Birc Silêman. To the west, it is bordered by a mountain range planted with olive trees and the village of Basûfan at a distance of 1 km. To the east, it is bordered by a rugged slope, a mountain range, and the villages of Fafertîn and Kebaşîn.
It consists of an ancient archaeological hill, and currently, the village is completely abandoned. It administratively belongs to the village of Birc Heyder, Efrîn region, Heleb governorate. There are no dwellings in it whatsoever, except for the remains of two churches dating back to the sixth century AD.
