It is stated in the book جبل الكرد (عفرين) دراسة جغرافية Çiyayê Kurmênc (Efrîn): A Geographical Study: Qarşiqa, the farm of Qarşiq / 204 inhabitants - 920m /:
Qarşiq: Meaning "The Mixture" or "Mixed". The residents of the village belong to four families from different tribes, so it was named "The Mixture".
It is stated in the book عفرين .... نهرها وروابيها الخضراء Efrîn... Her River and Her Green Hills: Qarşiq: A farm in Çiyayê Kurmênc following the district of Bilbil, Efrîn region, Heleb governorate. It is an ancient village located on a mountainous height and the southern slope of Çiyayê Kurê yê Piçûk (Little Kurê Mountain). It is about 300m away from the village of Baxçe Qonaq.
Currently, three modern residences have been built upon it, among them the house of Silêman Cefer. The real owners of the village are not currently present; they are residing in Şam (Damascus). The old site is devoid of residents and has become an agricultural site. There is a water spring between the two villages from which the people of the village drink, and the age of the spring dates back to the days of the Romans.
