According to the book 'جبل الكرد' 'Mountain of the Kurds' / Afrin City / Geographical Study:
Qurta, Qort Oshāġī (قورت أوشاغي), Hozān (هوزان) /1334N - 272E - 9km - 640m/:
- Qortā: means wolves, or children of wolves, and it is a Turkish name in origin. There is no connection of the name Hozān with the old name of the village.
- A small village located in the center of the northeastern slope of a limestone plateau. Khoja Qorta (خوجه قورتا), one of the leaders of the Muridiya movement (الحركة المريدية) from the last century, belongs to it.

Qort Oshāġī (قورت اوشاغي): A village in Kurdistan Mountain (جبل الكرد) belonging to Bilbile District (ناحية بلبل), Afrin City region (منطقة عفرين), Aleppo Governorate (محافظة حلب).
It is a small village located in the center of the northeastern slope with little inclination of a limestone plateau, streams carve its sides with fertile clay soil, 9km away from Bilbile town (بلدة بلبل) to the southeast. It is bounded to the north by a mountain chain and Sharqyānlī village (قرية شرقيانلي), to the south by a mountain slope planted with olive trees and Sîlî Valley (وادي سيلي) and Kotānlī village (قرية كوتا نلي), to the west by a mountain elevation planted with olive trees and Qāsh Oshāġī village (قرية قاش أوشاغي), and to the east by Sîlî Valley (وادي سيلي) and Qastal Miqdād (قسطل مقداد) and Bilbile-Maydānkī road (طريق بلبل مييدانكي). The number of houses is approximately /35/ houses and its age is approximately /300/ years. Its old dwellings are stone-clay with flat wooden roofs, and the modern ones are concrete that expanded to the east. It has an electricity network, an elementary school, a mosque, and two modern olive presses. It drinks from a water network connected to wells dug in its southeastern direction and from cisterns collecting rainwater. The road from it to Bilbile town (بلدة بلبل) is paved and passes through its center to Qāsh Oshāġī village (قرية قاش أوشاغي). Its inhabitants work in cultivating olives, grains, and vines rainfed (272 hectares) and raising sheep and goats.
