Şêx Cemaledîn is a shrine associated with Coqê and Dargirê in the Mabeta sub-district.
Physical & Landscape Features
It is a traditionally built shrine, about one kilometre northwest of Cewîq.1
Dedicated Figure & Historical Roots
The people of the neighbouring villages, Darkêr, Kokanê, and Cewîq, share in venerating it, and the name Cemaledîn is widespread among them. It is said that this Şêx Cemaledîn was the fourth grandfather of Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, leader of the Murid movement in the Kurd Mountain in the second quarter of the twentieth century.2
