Dedicated Figure & Historical Roots
Members of the Şêx Rabo family, a sheikhly family living in the village, tie the shrine to their forebear Ehmed Şêx Heyder. Proofs and tests of his standing as a sheikh were demanded of him. In the story, his flock rose from the place where it was kept and went up to the Shrine of Cemo, where people of a tribe saw it. The young men had lost the sheep through the opening, and the sheep were held for three days until the end without being given up. The teller closes by saying that it happened through destiny and will, and that it rests on divine destiny.2
