Mar Maron (Kurdish: Tirba Mar Maron, Arabic: مار مارون) is a tomb and shrine of Beradê. The Maronites believe that the tomb of their sect's founder, Mar Marûn, is there. The Tomb of Saint Mar Marûn is dated to 410 AD.
Bircilqazê has its own shrine called Marmarûn. A local account there says Marmarûn's remains were buried at Kenîse Julyanos. How that account relates to this tomb is not clear.

Sileman Ferençiye came; let us say the Syrian president came, Bouthaina Shaaban came, Farouk al-Sharaa came... Let us say the one from Lebanon, Nebîl Berrî... This is his tomb, right here. It is the tomb of Mar Maron." ↩
