Tirba Şêx Elî is the tomb of Şêx Elî in Kurkê Jorin in the Mabeta sub-district. It stands beside the Meqamê Şêx Hesen, the meqam, or memorial shrine, of his son.

This is a different shrine from the Yezidi Şêx Elî of Basûfanê.

Dedicated Figure & Historical Roots

The tomb is that of Şêx Elî, who died around 1996. His son Şêx Hesen later renovated the tomb and wished to build up his father's work at the site.1
